Kogan.com has released its new Agora 6 Plus flagship smartphone that includes a range of features usually seen on premium devices but while retaining affordable pricing for its customers.
The Agora 6 Plus (which sounds a lot like the name of a certain Apple product) is being compared by Kogan.com to the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Kogan.com is calling it the best smartphone it’s ever made and was created in response to customers asking the company to include the same features as the high end phones.
Priced at just $349, the Agora 6 Plus has an aluminium chassis and a bright 5.5-inch full high definition IPS (in-plane switching) display.
Powered by an octa-core processor, the Agora 6 Plus is running the Android 6 operating system and has a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front selfie camera.
The device also has a dual SIM card tray which ideal for people with a work and personal number and also suitable for international travelers who want to have their own SIM and a local SIM.
The Agora 6 Plus is also the first Kogan.com smartphone to feature a fingerprint reader for added security. It is located on the rear panel of the aluminium body.
Users will also find NFC (near field communication) onboard which can be used to instantly pair compatible Bluetooth devices and to make fast and secure payments.
Under the hood is 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage which can be expanded through the included microSD card slot.
