Amaysim introduces data-only plans with 50GB and 70GB allowances

Amaysim has seriously increased the allowances on its data-only plans that will now offer the choice of 50GB and 70GB to use on the move with your mobile devices and hotspots.

Amaysim, which uses the Optus 4G network, is looking to cater to users with high demands for mobile data and for customers who might not have fixed broadband in their homes.

Research recently released by Telsyte shows that mobile data usage has grown by a massive 60 per cent in 12 months with nine out of 10 Australians tethering their mobile devices as well.

More than half of all Australians aged 16 or over use both a tablet and a smartphone.

The new “go big or go home” plans are available now and are priced at $65 per 28-day renewal on the 50GB plan and $80 for the 70GB plan.

There are no lock-in contracts so customers are free to experiment with plans that suit their needs.

“We know Aussies are data hungry and there’s limited bang for your buck in high data plans on the market right now,” Amaysim’s mobile commercial; director Maik Retzlaff said.

“The new data-only offerings are perfect for iPads, tablets or dongles, and will provide peace of mind for high data users, whether they’re streaming the latest Netflix release, working on the go, or indulging in some online shopping.”

Amaysim has also recently released its NBN plans but these new data-only offerings are ideal for customers who don’t have the NBN yet but still want access to high speed broadband without being locked in to a 12 or 24-month contract.
