unidenguardUniden has launched a new plug-and-play wireless surveillance system which can be viewed remotely on a smartphone or tablet.

The Guardian is Uniden’s second generation wireless system and offers an affordable home security solution which is also easy to set up.

Available from June, Guardian can be used inside or outside of your property.

And because it is wireless there is no need to run cables or work out confusing equipment installations.

The cameras and the monitor of this DIY security solution connect with one another wirelessly up to a range of about 150m.

Each system can support up to four cameras with recording modes able to snap pictures and videos at scheduled periods, after motion is detected or manually.

The feeds from up to four cameras can be recorded to a single SD card.
