Bose has launched its latest Lifestyle Collection with a new approach to home audio, which focuses not only on design and audio quality but also convenience and access to your content from any room of your house.
The new Bose Collection includes a wireless smart speaker, a soundbar and a powerful subwoofer that are all built to work together seamlessly across your home.
Users can stream audio from any platform and group speakers easily via Google Cast or Apple AirPlay.
The Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, and the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer will be available from May 15 and come in either black or white smoke.
The foundation of these new speakers comes from more than 40 years of Bose audio innovation and are influenced by the original Lifestyle systems and its Wave radio.
These new products offer high-quality audio in your home from compact and elegantly designed systems that are easy to access and easy to use.
“With the Lifestyle Collection, we wanted every detail to serve a singular purpose: making exceptional sound easy to enjoy,” said Raza Haider, president, premium consumer audio, Bose Corporation.
“The flexibility, refined aesthetic, and experience are all built to fit into life at home, delivering on the one central promise that has defined Bose for decades: that sound matters.”
The Bose Lifestyle Collection has been designed to all work together to create the system that meets your needs in the home, office, bedroom or kitchen.
For example customers can set up the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar and add the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer and two additional Lifestyle Ultra Speakers to achieve a full 7.1.4 multi-channel home theatre system.
And that’s just one of many configurations customers can come up with, whether it’s to enhance their home viewing experience or set up a multi-room audio system.
BOSE LIFESTYLE ULTRA SPEAKER – $549.95
The Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is small and versatile and can fit anywhere in your home yet still offer powerful output to fill a room with high quality by projecting sound towards the ceiling and walls and back towards the listening position.
The speaker is perfect for the kitchen, bedroom, or office and can be paired with a second speaker to enjoy a stereo experience for greater depth and separation.
Onboard is TrueSpatial audio processing so the speaker can adapt to its surroundings and sound natural in the space through its up-firing speaker design.
CleanBass technology also comes into play to offer exceptional bass from a unit of its size.
It does this by combining the speaker’s woofer and a QuietPort acoustic opening with advanced digital signal processing to deliver controlled low-frequency sound that would be nearly impossible in a speaker of this size.
BOSE LIFESTYLE ULTRA SOUNDBAR – $1,799.95
The Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is small enough to fit anywhere yet offers the power for rich, immersive audio.
The unit has six full range drivers – two front-facing and one up-firing – a centre tweeter and two proprietary phase guide drivers so it can easily handle Dolby Atmos content and offer a three-dimensional soundscape.
The on-board phase guide technology can also place audio in parts of the room where there are no speakers.
The on-board speech clarity technology also uses Bose’s AI-driven speech augmentation to isolate and enhance dialogue so voices stay crisp despite the other sounds going on around them.
CustomTune is a Bose technology that can analyse the room size, surfaces and furniture placement to optimise audio performance to suit the specific acoustics of the room.
BOSE LIFESTYLE ULTRA SUBWOOFER – $1,299.95
This is a sleek yet powerful wireless bass module that rounds out the Lifestyle Collection.
It is powered by Bose’s Clean Bass technology and the same acoustic QuietPort opening to offer deep yet controlled bass that remains clear even at high volumes.
The addition of the Bose Lifestyle Ultra subwoofers adds real authority for an ultimate home theatre experience.
And it can also be paired, of course, with the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar and speakers to reproduce the ultimate surround sound experience, with a focus on mids and highs for clearer dialogue and an even more detailed sound.
The system can be set up through the updated Bose app so users can configure their own system to their home.
The app will also consolidate permissions, third-party account sign-ins and secure Wi-Fi access across all devices.
The app offers complete control, including volume, source selection, equalisation, and allows personalization of the devices, room to room and listener to listener.
