LG has continued to put the wood behind the arrow at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas with the launch of its latest range of stunning OLED evo TVs that now offer even higher brightness, wireless connectivity and built-in AI that’s easily accessible for customers.
LG continues to lead the market in the OLED category with the 2025 OLED evo models offering perfect black, accurate colour and even brighter panels for a truly lifelike viewing experience.
The 2025 OLED evo range is powered by the Alpha A11 AI Processor Gen2 which does all the heavy lifting when it comes to optimising the picture and audio quality in real time.
Under the hood are deep learning algorithms to analyse and upscale lower resolution content while Dynamic Tone Mapping takes control of HDR10 content to fine tune the images to its most accurate form.
On the audio side, LG’s AI Sound Pro provides a virtual 11.1.2 channels of sound.
LG has bolstered its range with the rollout of its flagship OLED evo M5 series – available in 65, 77, 83 and 97-inch – which is powered by the LG A11 Alpha AI Gen2 processor.
The LG OLED evo M5 can transmit 4K at 144Hz via its Zero Connect Box.
This wireless connectivity enables customers to place the TV anywhere – all that’s required is a power point.
The sources and antenna can be connected to the Zero Connect Box which can sit anywhere in the room.
The result is a clutter free space for the OLED evo M5 and provides an easier wall-mounting option
And despite the wireless connection, there is absolutely no compromise in the picture and audio quality.
The LG G5 OLED is basically the same OLED evo TV as the M5 but it does not offer the wireless connectivity.
In terms of AI, LG will provide a consistent experience across its entire TV range from entry level to the flagship models.
Users can press the new AI button in the newly designed remote and use their voice to adjust settings, troubleshoot issues, find content and search the internet.
LG is also offering significant updates to its QNED range which now include wireless connectivity and built-in AI.
The flagship LG QNED model – QNED9M – now comes with the Zero Connect Box and transmit 4K 144Hz.
While OLED is the company’s main strength, LG has also worked hard in the last few years to compete on the LED side of the market with its hugely improved QNED range.
LG has actually taken a few leaves out of the OLED book to upgrade the picture and sound quality.
The 2025 QNED evo range has a wider colour gamut with the Dynamic QNED Colour Solution replacing quantum dots to enable the backlight to deliver purer colour and realism.
