Kogan unveils affordable Agora 4G Android smartphone
Kogan is taking on the big brands yet again with a 4G Android smartphone that is more than $600 cheaper than the most popular devices in the market.
The Kogan Agora 4G is priced at just $229 but still offers a 5-inch screen and a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor.
Also on board is Android’s latest 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and compatibility with Australia’s current 4G network and future 4G networks on the 700Mhz spectrum.
Under the hood is a 2500mAh battery along with 8GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot to expand the capacity further.
On the camera side, there’s 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
The device is just 8.5mm thick and weighs in at 135g.
Kogan has collaborated with BenQ to produce the Agora 4G at an affordable price for Australian customers.
The device will be attractive for customers, especially younger budget-conscious users, who want to buy a device to use on a pre-paid plan or a SIM-only plan.
The Agora 4G Android smartphone is available exclusively from Kogan.
You can pre-order the device here with a delivery scheduled for late August.
