TomTom Golfer GPS watch will help improve your game
TomTom, the well-known in-car GPS brand, has now entered the golfing GPS market with a new sports watch to help players get the most out of their game.
The TomTom Golfer comes preloaded with more than 34,000 golf courses worldwide.
Players can view the hole, as well as distances to hazards, layups and to the front, middle and back of the green.
Because it has GPS onboard it can pinpoint your location at a particular golf course and also on the hole you’re playing.
One feature onboard is Greenview which offers a shot of the green and surrounding hazards to help players work out the best approach.
TomTom Golfer can also keep track of your round in terms of your score, the distance you’ve walked and the time it’s taken to complete your game.
The device is light and not too bulky so it’s comfortable to wear on your wrist for 18 holes.
It is also weather and water resistant so you can wear it while you’re playing in any conditions.
The device can also be easily updated wirelessly via a smartphone app to ensure golfers have the latest up-to-date course information.
The TomTom Golfer will be released in late October and will be priced at $299.
Stay tuned to Tech Guide for a compete review of the device when it is released.
