Reolink has put its intelligent visual technology into its latest product, the new Video Doorbell 2nd Gen which has just been released in Australia.
The device incorporates the Qualcomm QCC730 micro-power Wi-Fi solution and can deliver up to 50 per cent longer battery life than regular Wi-Fi doorbell cameras.
According to Finder research, nearly one in five Australians report a lost package in the last 12 months and 4 per cent have experienced theft directly from their doorstep so package security is a priority for many customers.
The Reolink Video Doorbell 2nd Gen can offer a solution to this problem thanks to the 4MP head-to-toe 1:1 view and on-device smart detection for people, vehicles, animals, and packages.
With the 1:1 view users can see if a person is standing at their doorstep with packages at their feet or if packages have been left at their front door.
The doorbell can run in either Battery Power Mode to offer a full wireless install or on a trickle charge connection to existing 8-24VAC doorbell wiring.
The optional wired power mode can also connect to 16-24 VAC power to allow always-on operation and 24/7 continuous recording.
“With the Video Doorbell 2nd Gen, we wanted homeowners and renters to have more flexibility without compromising on performance,” said Nick Nigro, Vice President Sales – Australasia.
“This flexibility is particularly relevant in the Australian market, where doorstep theft has become a genuine concern for many households, and simply knowing who’s at the door goes a long way toward peace of mind.”
The Reolink Video Doorbell 2nd Gen is available now at Reolink.com and Reolink’s official Amazon store for $229.99.
Features of the Video Doorbell 2nd Gen include:
