dlinkextend4D-Link’s new Wi-Fi Audio Extender can turn your speakers or home stereo into a streaming network system as well as strengthening the range of your home wi-fi.

The D-Link DCH-M225 is a compact device that plugs into your power point and then directly into a speaker or home stereo system.

What this does is allow the system to be accessed wirelessly on the network so you can stream music from your smartphone, tablet or computer to the audio system.

And because you’re using wi-fi rather than Bluetooth for your streaming, you have greater range at up to 100m and better quality at 300Mbps.

The D-Link Wi-Fi Audio Extender supports DLNA and AirPlay enabled devices so you can stream music from anywhere on your network to your nominated system.

But it can also extend your wireless network as well so your network can be accessed in hard-to-reach places in your home like your backyard and second story.

The D-Link DCH-M225 is compatible with any wireless router no matter what the brand and will work with any stereo system with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
