The iPhone 12 has been a huge success for Apple since it was released late last year with 5G onboard and now there is a new colour available for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini – it’s purple.
The new colour option was unveiled at the Apple Spring Loaded event today which also revealed new a new iMac, iPad Pro, Apple TV 4K and AirTag.
The new purple colour option adds another choice for customers on top of the other five colours – white, black, blue, green, (PRODUCT)RED and now purple.
It is identical in terms of specs as the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini with an advanced dual camera system, Super Retina XDR display, Cermamic Shield front screen, A14 Bionic processor and, of course, 5G connectivity.
“The incredible iPhone 12 is the most popular smartphone in the world, and the iPhone 12 family has an over 99 per cent customer satisfaction rate. The new purple finish, just in time for autumn, adds another bright and fun option to the lineup, and we think customers are going to love it,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
“This gorgeous new colour joins the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini family, which is available in five other stunning finishes, and features an advanced dual-camera system, Super Retina XDR display, improved durability, A14 Bionic — the fastest chip ever in a smartphone — great battery life, and the best 5G experience on any smartphone.”
