Logitech announces speaker dock with AirPlay

logitechuemain2Logitech has unveiled a new speaker dock which will allow users to stream their music to the device wirelessly using Apple’s AirPlay technology.

The Logitech UE is a stylish device finished with subtle curves and a piano black finish.

Being a music system, naturally there is enhanced audio designed to provide crisp, excellent sound.

The curved speakers help this along whether your music is travelling wirelessly through AirPlay or physically connected on the slide-out dock which will fit the iPhone, iPad or the iPod.

Initial set up is a breeze – just dock your iPhone, iPad or iPod, follow the onscreen instructions and download the dedicated Logitech UE Air app to enable AirPlay back through the Logitech UE.

Once the Logitech UE and your iPhone, iPod and iPad are linked to the same networks, the fun can begin.

The Logitech UE will be priced at $499 when it is released in Australian in late April/early May.
