Samsung has updated its Samsung Pay app to allow Galaxy smartphone users to tap on to Opal terminals in NSW to pay for train, bus and ferry services without even unlocking their device. Australia will be one of the first countries in the world to use thus feature which has been developed specifically for the Opal system in NSW to supplement contactless payment system which was introduced by Transport NSW. Telstra has announced a rewards program that will allow its eight million customers to earn points on their monthly Telstra bills and use them to get discounts on new products. Telstra Plus is open for customers to sign up for today with members earning 10 points for every $1 spent on monthly accounts and pre-paid recharges.
