Netgear’s PTV3000 can mirror your device’s display on your TV
A lot of the most interesting content we have is on our smartphones, tablets or computers and with Netgear’s latest product you now can enjoy it on your TV.
The Netgear Push2TV Wireless Display Adaptor PTV3000 is smaller than a deck of cards and can mirror your device’s display on the best screen in the house – your smart TV.
So whether it’s pictures, music or video – the PTV3000 can let you watch and listen to them on a grander scale.
Netgear’s Push2TV supports Intel’s WiDi technology – a standard that pairs compatible products, which have a MiraCast certification, on the same network.
The PTV3000 device has built in wi-fi and connects to the same network as your mobile device or laptop.
It can be powered either with the included power adaptor or by simply connecting it to a spare USB port on your smart TV.
Then it’s just a matter of connecting a HDMI cable from the PTV3000 to the HDMI input on your TV.
Netgear’s Push2TV supports video up to 1080p full high definition as well as 5.1 surround sound.
When the device’s screen is mirrored on the screen it can still be controlled in the normal way so you can play videos, scroll photos and navigate your music.
The latest smartphones, tablets and laptops are compatible with the Netgear Push2TV Wireless Adaptor.
These include the Samsung Galaxy S III, S4 and Note II and the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Also compatible, the HTC One, Sony’s Xperia T, TL and Z, the LG Nexus 4 and LG’s Optimus G.
Imagine being able to show your latest pictures and videos to your friends and family right off your device wirelessly on your TV.
Or what about using your favourite apps and playing your favourite games full screen on your TV?
Or maybe you want to display your presentation from your laptop onto a TV screen or through a projector?
With the Netgear Push2TV PTV3000 Wireless Adaptor you can. It is available now and is priced at $89.
