Samsung has announced the local availability of the 98-inch 8K QLED TV – the largest TV available in Australia.
Samsung was the first brand to release its 8K TVs in Australia in 65-inch 75-inch and 82-inch models.
And now along comes the 98-inch TV. And it’s not cheap – you’ll get $1 change from $100,000.

8K offers four times the resolution of 4K and is designed to give customers who are looking for a larger screen TV and even better home cinema experience.
Samsung’s 98-inch 8K QLED TV brings the same picture quality, artificial intelligence, excellent upscaling and connectivity as its other 8K TVs so whatever you’re watching will look amazing.
“As the pinnacle of our TV range, the 98-inch QLED 8K is the ultimate in home entertainment,” said Jeremy Senior, Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Australia. “This TV delivers levels of immersion and picture quality the likes of which Australians have rarely seen.
“This is a TV like no other. The clarity is breathtaking and it is something that needs to be experienced in person.”
