Modern technology gives us many things.

Samsung launches The Wall Luxury so you can build your own large display

Samsung has unveiled the future of immersive viewing with The Wall Luxury – a new generation of display technology which has a modular form factor that can be custom-designed for each customer.

Samsung’s The Wall Luxury was on display at the Integrate technology expo which runs until August 29 in Melbourne.

It uses micro LED panel technology which is now available in Australia for the first time.

Because of its modular build, customers can come up with their own screen sizes and aspect ratio to suit their taste and their home.

“Samsung Electronics has been at the forefront of the evolution of professional signage and has led the display market for ten consecutive years in terms of market share,” says Phil Gaut, director of display and memory solutions at Samsung Australia.

“The launch of The Wall in Australia is a major development for what we are able to provide our customers and partners. It is technology people need to see to believe.

“With its innovative design and unique features, The Wall Luxury offers a display solution that is free from traditional restrictions of size and space.

“With perfect black and pure colours, users will experience the magnitude of The Wall’s picture quality, while its radiant design is a perfect fit for any luxury space enhancing the environment’s beauty, sophistication and elegance.”

The flexible configuration options of The Wall Luxury means you get to choose the size of the display which can range anywhere between 73-inch (4K) all the way up to a massive 292-inch (8K).

The Wall Luxury is unlike regular large format displays which have crystal layers and backlights.

Instead The Wall Luxury uses millions of small, self-emitting LED pixels to create accurate colours and deep blacks with advanced HDR and HDR 10+ for optimum brightness and improved detail in the dark areas of the screen.

It can be configured to suit various business environments or luxury residential setups.

The commercial version of The Wall Luxury has already been featured at the iconic One Times Square building in New York with a five-screen LED display installation.
