LG has unveiled the pricing and availability of its 2020 line-up of premium soundbars with smart functionality to enhance your home viewing experience.
There are nine soundbars in LG’s range which complement the company’s recently released OLED, NanoCell and UHD TVs.
Once again, LG has partnered with respected UK audio brand Meridian to deliver an even more dynamic sound and support for 3D surround sound formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X which are being used with some of Hollywood’s biggest productions.
The LG 2020 models include the SN11RG, SN10YG, SN9YG, SN8YG, SN7Y, SN7CY which all include Meridian’s Bass and Space technology to boost low-frequency response and expand the soundstage.
And if you’re listening to music, the LG soundbars are also capable of picking out and heightening lead instruments and vocals through the onboard Image Elevation technology to make you feel like you’re in the crowd at a concert.
To help tailor the sound to your viewing environment, the LG soundbars are enhanced with AI Room Calibration.
You can use your smartphone microphone to listen to special test tones produced by the soundbars so it can adjust the onboard equaliser and match the room’s acoustics.
“At LG Australia, we are passionate about providing Australians with the very best home entertainment experience possible,” says Tony Brown, marketing manager for home entertainment, LG Electronics Australia.
“Our successful partnership with Meridian Audio has allowed us to bring high-fidelity sound into even more Australian homes this year.
“It has never been a better time to pair great visuals with superior audio.
Our 2020 Sound Bars are the ultimate home entertainment package when paired with one of our premium TVs.
“We’re excited to give Australians access to advanced audio technologies and create memorable moments with family and friends at home – whether it be watching movies, sport or gaming.”
The LG SN11RG soundbar is the flagship model of the line-up and delivers 770W of power and supports a 7.1.4-channel system through the included two rear wireless up-firing speakers which produce a multi-dimensional sound.
There is also 4K passthrough so your 4K content is smoothly transferred through to the soundbar.
The LG SN10YG and SN9YG soundbars also offer top-end sound quality for a rich, lifelike viewing experience with 570W and 520W of power respectively with 5.1.2 channel support.
Some of the LG soundbars have already been released with the rest to follow in June.
