Modern technology gives us many things.

Hisense unveils new smart platform for its 2019 range of TVs

Hisense will be hitting the ground running in 2019 with an updated smart TV operating system that will be integrated into its line-up of new ULED TVs next year.

The company’s smart TVs will get even smarter thanks to the addition of VIDAA U3.0 AI which will offer enhanced connectivity, advanced smart home integration and even faster performance.

The latest Hisense TVs with VIDAA U3.0 AI on board will also come with full integration of Amazon Alexa with customers able to take full advantage of the voice control functionality without an Echo device.
This enhanced functionality will also be included in RemoteNow, the Hisense smartphone app which will allow users to control the TV and their home’s Alexa compatible smart devices.

“Australia is a nation of early-adopters – we’re tech savvy and are always looking for ways to improve connectivity in the home, especially in the living room,” said Andre Iannuzzi, Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia.
“With this in mind, innovation, performance and user experience continue to be key priorities for us as we move into 2019.

“Our new smart TV operating system, VIDAA U3.0 AI, and the continued development of the RemoteNow smart phone App are a testament to this and will feature the latest advancements in AI technology, including integration with multiple leading smart assistant platforms.”

The 2019 Hisense TVs will also include a next-generation chipset for improved performance which includes a boot up time that’s nearly twice as fast as the Hisense 2018 TVs.

YouTube and Netflix will also be preloaded on the new TVs and be enabled to open and transition between apps faster.

Another addition to the user experience will be a new interface that will showcase Netflix content from the home screen without the need to open up the app.

Also included with the new platform’s home screen will be the Smartsense hub which will provide real-time information about the weather, notification updates and the Discover feature which will recommend trending apps,.

Finding content will continue to be one of the strengths of VIDAA U3.0 AI with a new Hisense App Store with a wider range of apps including the addition of another popular streaming app – Amazon Prime Video.

Part of the Hisense 2019 line-up will also include a series of Android-powered TVs.

The introduction of Android TV will be welcomed by Australian customers and will also expand its smart assisted platforms to include Google Assistant.

Hisense will release even more information about the 2019 range at the Consumer Electronics Show which runs from January 6-11.
