If you can’t tear yourself away from Netflix on your TV, there is now an answer. From today you can now watch Netflix on the Google Nest and Google Nest Max smart displays.

Now you can keep watching your favourite Netflix show in the kitchen while you’re cooking or binge another episode while you’re doing the dishes or anywhere else in the house where you have a Nest smart display.

If you have a Netflix account you can easily link it through the Google Home or Assistant app.

Now users can use their voice to either open Netflix on their display or simply ask for a particular program, for example “Hey Google, play Queer Eye” and it will play right from where you left off.

This is particularly handy in the kitchen if you have your hands covered in flour while baking or are elbow deep in detergent doing the dishes.

With Quick Gestures you can also pause and play the video again simply by holding up your hand.

Netflix joins Stan, Foxtel and Disney+ as the latest streaming service that can be accessed via the Google Nest and Google Nest Max smart displays.

The Google Nest Hub which has a 7-inch touchscreen display is priced at $99 and the 10-inch Nest Hub Max is $349.
