Motorola has released its new flagship edge 30 pro smartphone which was unveiled at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and featuring a 6.7-inch OLED display and 5G connectivity.
Priced at $999, the edge 30 pro will go on sale on March 31.
The Motorola edge 30 pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform – the first time it has been seen on a smartphone – which will enable features like ultra high-resolution cameras, 5G connectivity, AI, gaming and reliable wi-fi and Bluetooth connections.
The smartphone has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate to ensure smooth videos and games.
On the audio side, the edge 30 pro also includes Dolby Atmos thanks to the Snapdragon Sound technology which takes sound quality to a new level.
The Motorola edge 30 pro has two 50-megapixel cameras which can fit 4x more into the frame in ultra-wide shots.
Videos can also be captured in 8K resolution with HDR10+ which results in more than 26 million pixels of resolution – the highest video resolution on any smartphone.
And you can take stunning selfies with the front 60-megapixel camera.
Running Android 12, the edge 30 pro will not add any other layers of software for a cleaner look and feel and no duplicate apps.
“At Motorola, our mission is to deliver cutting-edge technology to consumers who are after a flagship and one-of-a-kind smartphone experience,” says Kurt Bonnici, Head of Motorola for Australia and New Zealand.
“The Motorola edge 30 pro does exactly that. With an industry-leading processor, ultra-high-res cameras, gorgeous display and innovative software experience, consumers will have the most advanced technology at their fingertips.
“And best of all, we’re bringing these features at an accessible price point.”
The Motorola edge 30 pro will be available in Cosmic Blue and will be priced at $999.
