Modern technology gives us many things.

Alcatel redefines value with its 2019 range of impressive smartphones and a new tablet

Alcatel has unveiled its latest range of affordable yet feature-packed smart phones and a tablet at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona which feature 18:9 Full View Displays and premium finishes inspired by nature.

All of the new Alcatel devices come preloaded with Google Assistant to help manage your day, access your content and control your home’s smart devices.

The new range includes the Alcatel 3, the Alcatel 3L, the Alcatel 1S and the Alcatel 3T 10 tablet.

TCL, Alcatel’s parent company, acknowledges the fact the market is on the verge of change with 5G connectivity as well as folding flexible devices, but most customers still want devices that are going to cost the earth.

“We cannot lose sight of consumers who are just looking for great technology at an affordable price,” said Peter Lee, General Manager of Global Sales and Marketing at TCL Communication.

“This is why we continue to enhance and expand our Alcatel smartphone and tablet lineup, ensuring customers who want the latest mobility experiences can have them regardless of their budget.”

This device has a 5.9 inch 19.5:9 HD+ Super Full View Display with a small notch which offers an amazing 88 per cent screen to body ratio.

The Alcatel 3 is ideal for viewing content and photos and powerful enough to enjoy a solid gaming experience thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core chipset and 4GB RAM.

Also on board is 64GB storage along with a microSD expansion to extend that memory even further.

On the camera side the Alcatel 3 has a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual camera with real-time bokeh effect and an 8-megapixel front facing camera.

Alcatel’s Face Key also provide security and instant access with a scan of your face.

With all the features of the Alcatel 3, the Alcatel 3L is designed with 2.5 D front glass and spectrum engraving which highlights the product’s impressive design.

On the camera front, the Alcatel 3L, like the Alcatel 3, also includes AI to the experience so we can automatically detect the correct scenes and modes for your images.

Additionally, it also comes with Android 8.1 Oreo preinstalled with the ability to upgrade to Android 9.0 Pie in the coming months.

The Alcatel 1S is set to redefine the idea of a value device with a range of impressive features.

It has a 5.5 inch 18:9 HD+ Full View Display along with 3GB RAM and 32GB of on-board storage that’s expendable through microSD card slot.

The device also has a dual rear 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera system which also includes real-time bokeh effect and AI scene detection.

The Alcatel 3T 10 tablet features a 10-inch immersive high-definition screen and dual front speakers to provide an impressive cinematic entertainment experience on the move.

With the onboard 4,080mAh battery, that experience can last the entire day.

The device is powered by Android 9.0 Pie and also includes Google Assisted pre-installed.

It could even be controlled hands-free with your voice to access your content and answer questions and more from up to 3m away thanks to the DSP voice recognition feature.

The Alcatel 3T 10 also has an optional lightweight audio station accessory that connects to the device to achieve even more powerful sound.

Australian pricing and availability will be confirmed closer to the launch date of each device.
