Vodafone has released two new value 5G home broadband plans with unlimited data for customers who can’t access the NBN or don’t want the NBN and want extra bang for their buck.
The plans start at $60 per month for existing Vodafone mobile customers (otherwise $65 a month for non-Vodafone mobile customers) with unlimited data and speeds of up to 50Mbps.
For $65 a month ($70 for non-Vodafone customers) you get unlimited data and speeds of up to 100Mbps.
Customers who sign up will get the first month free.
Telstra’s 5G home broadband plans are $85 a month with speeds up to 600Mbps and 1TB data.
Optus 5G home broadband plans start at $79 a month for 100Mbps maximum speeds and $89 for uncapped 5G speeds. Both plans include unlimited data.
Customers must check their address to ensure they are within the 5G network footprint for their provider to be able to take up a plan.
“While the price of petrol, bread and coffee is going up, our 5G home internet prices are going down,” said TPG Telecom General Manager Fixed Product, Andrew O’Connor.
“We know how important it is for Australians to experience great connectivity and performance at an even better price as they work, study and play from home.
“Our network is the strongest it’s ever been, and we’re excited to be offering more choice and competition for customers across Australia, at more affordable prices than ever before.
“It’s never been a better time to sign up with Vodafone.”
Customers can sign up to the new plans online, via customer care and in-store.
