Modern technology gives us many things.

Oppo launches its first smartwatch and a range of wireless earphones

Oppo has just become the latest player in the smartwatch market with the release of the  Oppo Watch and it has also entered the audio market with the Oppo Enco Series of wireless earphones.

Like Apple and Samsung, Oppo has expanded its smartphone portfolio and created an ecosystem of products that can all work together.

“The launch of our wearables and audio range is a pivotal moment for us as a brand, broadening our product offering for our customers as we begin to build out the Oppo ecosystem in Australia,” said Michael Tran, Oppo Australia Managing Director.

“The Oppo Watch and Oppo Enco series presents exceptional value for money, combining stylish designs and the latest innovations with OPPO’s renowned user experience and industry leading technology.

“With more Android users turning to Oppo, I have no doubt the Oppo Watch and Oppo Enco will become staples for our customers from here and in the iterations to come.”

The Oppo Watch will be available in two sizes – 41mm and 46mm – with a square design that makes them look very similar to the Apple Watch.

The 46mm Oppo Watch has a 1.91-inch 3D flexible hyperboloid AMOLED display with a 402 x 476 resolution and 326ppi (pixels per inch) so you get extra detail and a frameless look.

There are range of health and wellness features including heart-rate and sleep monitoring and the ability to track a wide range of exerices.

Oppo Watch is also water resistant  to a depth of 50m for the 46mm and 30m for the 41mm.

On the battery side the Oppo Watch includes the Dual Chip Endurance System and Watch VOOC Flash charging technology so you get both superior battery life but also fast recharging.

The Oppo Watch will work only with Android smartphones and includes access to numerous apps on the Google Play Store.

The Oppo Watch will go on sale on September 29.
