Modern technology gives us many things.

Make calls and send messages through Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses on WhatsApp

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, is adding even more functionality to the Ray-Ban Stories connected smart sunglasses – you can now make hands free calls through WhatsApp.

And the Ray-Ban Stories will also be able to read out your WhatsApp messages to you as well.

When they were introduced last year, the Ray-Ban Stories were designed to allow users to capture photos and videos without the need to reach for their smartphone so you can stay in the moment.

With this new update users will be able to make calls and send messages through WhatsApp to your friends and family.

Users can simply say “Hey Facebook, send a message to Logan” or “Hey Facebook, call Ziggy”.

And when you receive a message, it will give users a notification and read out the message.

Users will also soon be able to reply using just their voice in a future update.

After this update, you’ll just say “Hey Facebook, reply”.

Today’s update will be available through the Facebook View companion app for the Ray-Ban Stories.

Users then must ensure the latest firmware is also installed in their glasses.

To do this check within the Facebook View app while their glasses are paired. Go to Your Glasses > Glasses Update and then follow the steps.
