Samsung has expanded its range of curved gaming monitors to offer an even richer and more immersive experience for gamers and hopefully give them an edge over the competition.
Samsung has just launched the 49-inch CRG9 and the 27-inch CRG5 – the latter actually happens to be the world’s first 240Hz curve gaming monitor.
The 49-inch CRG9 is powered by Samsung’s QLED display technology with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 which delivers remarkable detail in every frame in an enormous widescreen experience.
With a 120Hz screen refresh rate and the AMD Freesync 2, you’ll get much smoother gameplay.
While the CRG9 offers a wider landscape, CRG5 is all about speed thanks to its 240Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility which eliminates screen lag and provides excellent performance for even the most graphics heavy games.
The CRG5 also has a 3000:1 contrast ratio so you can see even more detail in the game in the brightest and darkest parts of the screen.
And having a near invisible bezel means near edge-to-edge screen on three sides.
The CRG5 also has preset display options to suit different genres of games with an on-screen digital menu to easily create or switch between up to three different display profiles.
“Samsung’s monitors are well designed and engineered. We rely on them to give our team a winning edge,” said Tim Wendel, Head of Esports, Legacy Esports Australia.
“As a team we find the curved design allows for easier viewing during long game play sessions. With killer refresh rates, the technology also allows for incredibly precise and accurate movement on screen.”
