Microsoft unveils Surface Laptop 4 and new business accessories

Microsoft has revealed the newest member of its hardware family – the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 which will be available in 13.5-inch and 15-inch models.

Microsoft also unveiled a range of new Surface accessories for business users including headphones, wireless headsets, a speaker and webcam.

The Surface 4 laptop retains the design of the previous generation and includes a 3:2 PixelSense touchscreen display as well as your choice of metal or Alcantara finishes in a variety of colours.

Also onboard is a built-in HD front-facing camera with solid low-light capabilities and a studio microphone array so you can be seen and heard in high quality for your next virtual meeting.

The vibrant touchscreen has 201ppi (pixels per inch) with high contrast and also has Dolby Atmos Omnisonic speakers onboard.

The Surface 4 laptop is powered by either the Intel 11^th Generation Intel Core processor or the AMD Ryzen Mobile processors with Radeon Graphics Microsoft Surface Edition.

Either option offers smooth performance and improved battery life.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 starts at $1,599 and are available to order now with stock arriving in the coming weeks.

The new accessories available for Microsoft business customers include:   

– Surface Headphones 2+ ($479.95): optimised for modern productivity the wireless headphones include all the features you love about the Surface Headphones but now with a robust meeting experience with on-ear Teams controls and improved remote calling.

– Microsoft Modern USB ($89.95) & Wireless Headsets ($151.95): certified for Microsoft Teams, these new modern headsets enable greater focus and call privacy, especially in shared workspaces.

– Microsoft Modern USB-C Speaker ($151.95): the new workday audio companion which offers people a better way to manage their Microsoft Teams meeting experience with a powerful speaker driver, dual microphones, and intuitive controls.

– Microsoft Modern Webcam ($119.95): a Microsoft Teams approved webcam that delivers high-quality, reliable video conferencing to enhance or add to any existing PC setup.
