Microsoft has just launched a new series of Surface products which meet the needs of users at home, in the office and at school. They include the Surface Go 2 2-in-1, the Surface Book 3 laptop, Surface 2 headphones and the Surface earbuds.
The products are designed to keep us connected and productive no matter where we are – a concept we have really grown to appreciate since working and learning from home during the coronavirus lockdown.
More than 4 trillion minutes are spent on Windows 10 per month – a 75 per cent improvement year-on-year and this has been driven by the versatility of having a Windows device like these Surface products that run the software customers need anywhere.
SURFACE GO 2 – FROM $629
Microsoft built this as an affordable and portable 2-in-1 now has a larger 10.5-inch PixelSense display with 64 per cent faster performance.
It is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core M processor and now also includes dual microphones and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for clearer video chats.
SURFACE BOOK 3 – FROM $2,649
The Surface Book 3 is Microsoft’s most powerful laptop to date with a 50 per cent performance jump from the previous model.
Available in 13-inch and 15-inch versions, the Surface Book 3 has a high DPI PixelSense display and is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core processor.
Surface Book 3 now ships with 32GB RAM and the fastest SSD ever included so the laptop is nothing short of a powerhouse.
SURFACE HEADHONES 2 – $399.95
Putting on the Surface Headphones 2 transports you from wherever you are into your own world thanks to 13 levels of ambient noise control.
The new headphones also have improved sound quality and battery life which means you get up to 20 hours of listening time.
The design has also has an update with the ear cups bow able to rotate 180 degrees for even greater comfort.
SURFACE EARBUDS – $319.95
Surface Earbuds are the earphones you use when you want to hear your tunes but also hear what’s going on around you especially if you are exercising and taking a phone call.
They are built for comfort and stability and have intuitive touch controls on the earbuds to take control of your music and phone calls.
It features Omnisonic sound with a shortcut to your Spotify playlists as well as screen-free integration with Microsoft 365 which enables things like dictation in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
