LG’s new gram laptops are thinner and lighter with improved power and performance

LG has released its new line-up of LG gram laptops which push the boundaries of design with even thinner and lighter models that do not compromise on quality or performance.

The new gram models include Ultraslim and Style and deliver take-anywhere convenience and an exceptional experience on the move.

LG GRAM ULTRASLIM

The flagship model of the LG gram range is Ultraslim (Model 15Z90RT) and it is the thinnest gram model ever produced at just 10.99mm when closed.

That’s about the same thickness as a smartphone or a notepad.

And it tips the scales at just 998g.

But despite its svelte dimensions, it still delivers a powerful computing experience.

it has a 15.6-inch OLED display with Anti-glare Low Reflection (AGLR) coating and it is powered by Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake chip with Performance Cores (P-Cores).

LG GRAM STYLE

The new LG gram style models will be available in 16-inch (Model 16Z90RS) and 14-inch (Model 14Z90RS) versions and are aimed at customers who want their style to extend to their laptop.

The Style models have an elegant glass design which makes the colours shift and change dynamically as they move in the light.

The focus on design extends to the new gram laptops where a hidden haptic touch pad with soft LED backlighting illuminates when it is used.

Each of the Style laptops have a 16:10 OLED Anti-glare Low Reflection (AGLR) display and a high refresh rate.

They are powered by Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake P-Core CPU and a Gen4 NVMe solid state drive (SSD).

The new LG gram Style models support Thunderbolt 4 and have HDMI connectivity.

On the audio side they support Dolby Atmos – a new addition to the LG gram this year.

OTHER LG GRAM MODELS

Also new for 2023 there are gram 17, 16, 15 and 14 laptops (Models 17Z90R, 16Z90R, 15Z90R and 14Z90R) which maintain the brand’s combination of strong performance and light, compact design.

The latest 17 and 16-inch models are ideal for productivity and entertainment and include NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU, an Intel 13th Gen Raptor Lake P-Core CPU, and a Gen4 NVMe SSD.

These new models weigh less than 1.45 kg despite the fact they have a battery large enough to support up to 20 hours of video playback on a single charge.

These latest LG gram laptops have IPS panel with anti-glare coating, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for seamless and judder free graphics while gaming and immersive Dolby Atmos which will add even more enjoyment to movies, music and games.

The new LG gram 2-in-1 comes in 16 and 14-inch sizes (Models 16T90R and 14T90R) and can switch from laptop to tablet when the user chooses.

These also include preinstalled notetaking and drawing applications which have been optimised for use with the LG Stylus Pen (Wacom AES 2.0).

The +view portable monitor (Model 16MT70) allows users to double their screen real estate to make things like multitasking and working on larger projects even easier wherever they go.

The LG portable screen has dual USB-C ports so users can connect two devices at once.

“Welcoming the arrival of the brand-new gram Ultraslim and gram Style, the 2023 LG gram lineup gets even more diverse,” said Seo Young-jae, senior vice president and head of the IT business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company.

“A leading brand in the ultra-lightweight laptop market for the last decade, LG gram will continue to introduce new form factors to meet the changing needs and tastes of consumers worldwide.”
