This power couple not only offers outstanding quality for listeners to enjoy their CD collections but they also offer modern streaming conveniences as well.
Under the hood is the latest HDAM (hyperdynamic amplifier modules), a proprietary Marantz technology, which is utilised in the analogue output stage and have been further optimised to flow more accurate current and lower distortion at high frequencies.
Apart from remarkable CD playback quality, the Marantz CD 60 also has a front panel USB-A port which will enable an array of digital files including MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF (up to 192kHz/24bit) and DSD (up to 5.6mHz) from a connected USB storage device.
CD 60 also has a new reference class D/A converter for optimal high fidelity and clarity across all frequency ranges.
Also on board the CD 60 is the Marantz HDAM-SA2 high performance headphone amp circuit which has three gain settings to match almost any headphone.
The Marantz CD 60 player will be available in June from authorised Marantz retailers and will be priced at $1,749.
