Ecovacs introduces Atmobot – the robot air purifier that can go room to room
Ecovacs already make high-quality robot vacuum cleaners and have unveiled a brand-new product at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas – the Atmobot – a mobile air purifier.
Unlike other air purifiers on the market, the Atmobot doesn’t just sit in one place.
Like its robot vacuum cleaner brothers, the Atmobot can also map the most efficient path around your home.
The device will scan each section of a user’s home and automatically pick out a purification spot in each room.
It will filter in that part of the room until air quality reaches adequate levels before moving on to the next area of the house.
The alternative would be to carry around a heavy air filter from room to room.
With Atmobot it can be sent into various rooms like your bedroom before you go to sleep or the kitchen while you’re cooking.
The unit has a four layer HEPA filter on both sides as well as three levels of fan power.
Atmobot works autonomously and automatically returns to its dock to recharge.
The unit also works with the Ecovacs app so you have complete control and the freedom to send the purifier anywhere in your home simply by tapping on the virtual map.
Australian pricing and availability will be confirmed in the coming months.
