Amazon has unveiled the latest generation of Kindle Scribe which has been reimagined from the ground up and now includes its first ever colour model.
There are three Kindle Scribes in the range which include the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, the Kindle Scribe and the Kindle Scribe without a front light.
All three devices are available to pre-order now ahead of the launch date on June 10.

These new redesigned devices have been created to improve focus, support clearer thinking and improve productivity.
Australian research shows that 22 per cent say regular interruptions impact their ability to properly disconnect while 17 per cent are struggling to stay focused on a single task.
One way Australians are choosing to unwind is with a focused activity like reading (33.4 per cent).
The new Kindle Scribe lineup is designed to minimise distractions and offer uninterrupted thinking.
Kindle Scribe combines not only reading but also allows users to write and organise their notes with AI, all in the one device.
“Australians are increasingly looking for ways to create moments of uninterrupted focus in a world full of constant notifications and distractions,” says Jacqui Corbett, Amazon Devices Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand.
“The new Kindle Scribe lineup is designed to support clearer thinking, deeper focus and more intentional productivity, whether that’s journaling, planning your week, reading without interruptions, or capturing ideas as they happen.
With Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, we’re also introducing colour note-taking and organisation tools that make planning, prioritising and creative work feel even more intuitive.”
The new models in the Kindle Scribe line-up have a larger 11-inch glare-free display, is 40 per cent faster for writing and page turns.
And it’s just 5.4mm thick and weighs 400g.
This means it feels light to hold, easy to slip into a bag and instantly responsive when you’re ready to use it.
And there are no other distracting apps or notifications so you have a space where you can focus on your reading, thinking and creativity.
The large glare-free display offers more room for reading, sketching and writing notes wherever you are, whether it’s relaxing at home, outdoors or commuting.
The screen is also brighter but still is still comfortable on the eyes while the paper-like writing surface offers a natural and satisfying note-taking experience.
The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft has the same design but with a colour screen that includes a new rendering engine to make colours soft and easy on the eyes.
Users can also write in various colours to make their notes easier to read. There are ten pen colours and five highlighter colours and a new shader tool for artists.
The Kindle Scribe now includes an AI-powered notebook with an all-new home screen with Quick Notes for jotting down ideas whenever inspiration strikes.
The devices can connect to Google Drive and OneDrive for easy document import and annotated PDF export.
And all notebooks a searchable using AI which can offer summaries and follow-up questions.
The Kindle Scribe is, of course, not just a notebook but a Kindle as well, with access to Amazon’s e-bookstore so users have instant access to millions of books.
