Tech Guide took a hands on look at the brand new ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 at the IFA 2025 tech show in Berlin.
It has some of the most powerful features that have been packed into one stunning unit.
One of the main new features is the PowerBoost technology which can charge the robot while it is cleaning the brushes.
It’s a little bit like an F1 pit stop so the vacuum can run for longer and clean a wider area.
And the robot’s not going to miss a thing thanks to the new TruEdge 3.0 Extreme Edge cleaning which gets right up close to the wall and gets into all the nooks and crannies in your home.
With even higher suction and mopping pressure, the DEEBOT X11 can easily handle tough stains on your hard floors.
The OZMO Roller 2.0 now has a new brush material to offer better scrubbing.
On the ECOVACS stand at IFA 2025, we saw a side-by side-comparison of the old circular brushes next to the OZMO roller 2.0 and the difference was like night and day.
They put some blue paint on a hard surface and the roller cleaned it up in one sweep while the brush left behind some residue that would require another pass.
The DEEBOT X11 can also get around your home pretty smartly thanks to the TruePass Adaptive 4 Wheel Driving climbing system which means it can get up and over thresholds up to a height of 4cm.
And naturally, AI is playing a big part.
It has empowered assistant AGENT YIKO to provide step by step spoken set up instructions for new customers who may require assistance in getting started.
This is on top of the commentary that AGENT YIKO can provide as it moves from room to room so you’re kept up to date with its progress without having to look at the app.
The DEEBOT X11 has taken a step up in power with a 100W high performance fan and a 6400 mAh battery which work together to achieve a 140 per cent boost in picking up fine dust, a 262 per cent improvement in hair removal and 100 per cent improvement in picking up large particles.
The DEEBOT X11 also has a new OmniCyclone station which incorporates PureCyclone 2.0 Auto Empty technology to transfer dust and debris directly into the station which is now bagless so there’s no need to purchase additional consumables.
The DEEBOT X11 Family of robotic vacuum cleaners which includes the DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone (RRP $2,999) and DEEBOT X11 PRO OMNI (RRP$2,699) are now available for pre-order with both models going on sale on September 30, 2025, from all leading retailers.
Stay tuned for a complete review of the Deebot X11 on Tech Guide in the coming weeks.
