The Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Noise Cancelling headphones can keep the music playing or days with an amazing battery life and adaptable noise reduction that will block out the world so you can enjoy the impressive audio quality.

Sony make some incredible headphones thanks to years of audio engineering including the new WH-CH710N wireless noise cancelling headphones that are smart enough to adapt to your surroundings.

These headphones have Sony’s typical audio quality and impressive noise cancellation and a staggering 35 hours of battery life.

On the design side, you’ll quickly discover these headphone are minimal and light at just 223g so you’ll forget they’re on your head after a while.

What helps keep them light is that they are made from plastic and, as a result, it feels, well, plasticy.

It is a step down from the build quality and materials you get with the WH-1000XM3 which cost another $70.

This doesn’t affect audio quality but we thought it would be better at this price – $349.

The adjustable metal slider fits all head sizes, including our large noggin, and the swivels on the ear cups guarantee a comfortable fit and also allow then to fold flat when packing them for your next trip.

The earcups are slim and rounded and have all the controls at your fingertips – power button, USB charging port and audio cable port on the left and navigation, volume and noise cancellation controls on the right.

Users can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to the headphones and users can hear a clear status when you’re pairing, when you’ve connected and when powering down.

Sound wise, you’re not going to be disappointed.

Music sounds large and clear but slightly lacking in clarity when compared to its big brother the WH-1000XM3.

That’s not to say the audio quality isn’t there – it is, just don’t expect these to sound like $600 headphones.

One thing these headphones really nail is the bass. It was at the perfect level to our ears so it will appeal to listeners of all ages.

Noise cancellation also holds its own with the ability to switch off the outside world.

We’ve heard better quality noise cancellation but Sony’s is above average here.

And the headphones can actually adjust that level of ambient noise reduction depending on your surroundings.

If you’re walking along a busy street or o a noisy train, the Sony WH-CH710N headphones will ramp up the noise cancellation – but if you’re at home or in your office it will bring it down to that level.

This worked quite well rather than a one size fits all approach. This could also explain why the battery lasts so long as well.

Speaking of the battery, that’s one of the most attractive features of the headphones with a whopping 35 hours of playback on a full charge.

That’s more than a whole week of commuting and, when we can travel overseas again, that will easily last for your entire flight to London or LA.

There’s an audio cable you can use to connect through a headphone jack or to connect to an aircraft entertainment system (when we’re back flying).

Just plugging the battery in for 10 minutes will also get you 60 minutes of playback so you can get enough juice for your commute or gym session if you forgot to charge up the night before.

The Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Noise Cancelling headphones are available now in white, blue or black and are priced at $349.
