Tech Guide took an up close look at the new OLED T transparent TV at the LG booth at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The 77-inch OLED is built into a frame with a glass panel on the front and a box on the base that can deploy then store the contrast barrier that rolls up the rear of the glass so it looks like a regular high-quality 4K OLED.
But when it is in transparent mode the OLED T seems to offer more depth to the image with the foreground separated further from the background.
LG had a wall made up of 15 of the OLED T OLED TVs at the of the booth that showcased the functionality.
We also took at look at the other OLED and QNED TVS along with the LG Smart AI Agent – a robot on wheels that can help you around the home.
