LG will be introducing a range of premium soundbars at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show which kicks off in Las Vegas next week that provide an enhanced audio experience for TV viewers.
The line-up features not only quality audio but also easy connectivity and useful functionality as well as sleek designs that will integrate perfectly with LG TVs.
The 2020 range of soundbars take advantage of LG’s long-standing partnership with quality audio brand Meridian and its latest technologies.
These include Bass and Space which can pump up low frequency reproduction and widen he soundstage and image elevation for a more lifelike audio experience.
The LG 2020 soundbar range will also offer Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for dynamic and truly immersive audio.
This means users can enjoy true-to-life sounds that will appear to originate from multiple directions including above them.
A new feature for the premium LG soundbars is AI Room Calibration which optimises the sound quality based on the dimensions and characteristics of the room.
The LG soundbars also have an upscaling feature that uses an advanced processing algorithm that can improve conventional file formats to near studio-quality sound.
Also onboard is a 4K passthrough to allow users to enjoy a cinema-like experience in their homes.
An optional rear speaker kit (sold separately) that’s compatible with the new LG soundbars will also be available.
LG’s 2020 soundbars will also feature Google Assistant to allow users to control compatible smart products with ease.
Connectivity has also been made easier with enhanced audio return channel (eARC) so users can plug in external devices directly into their eARC compatible TVs and enjoy three-dimensional sound and high resolution audio formats.
Premium models SN9YG and SN11RG have already been recognised in the CES Innovation Awards for their enhanced sound quality and usability.
The flagship SN11RG model offers a 7.1.4-channel system with two wireless rear speakers that offer forward- and up-firing sound for true 360-degree sound.
