Hisense has revealed its 2024 TV line-up and has taken its Mini-LED innovation to another level and even larger sizes and with improved brightness and clarity across its entire range.
Mini-LED can now be found across almost the entire Hisense portfolio and the 2024 models will see significant improvement.
The company drew a line in the sand last year and expanded Mini-LED backlighting to even more models and it has consolidated that decision in 2024 and set new quality benchmarks with its flagship UXAU and the U8 and U7 series.
“Each year, we commit to delivering greater value to our customers through our advanced, premium technologies. With our elevated ULED benchmark, this year’s range gives customers confidence that they are buying technology that is at the height of innovation in home entertainment,” said Gideon Lui, Head of Marketing, Hisense ANZ.
“The 2024 Hisense Mini-LED TV range delivers a vivid viewing experience, even in the sunlit and airy living spaces of Australian homes.
“With impressive brightness and clarity, along with an expansive suite of features, owners of our new and premium range will enjoy Hisense’s best Mini-LED TV viewing experience yet.”
The Hisense UXAU continues to lead the charge with Mini-LED X technology at its heart for extraordinary brightness and clarity courtesy of the sheer number of backlights and dimming zones.
The UXAU will also be available in two additional screen sizes including a monstrous 110-inch version for the customer who wants quality at an all-new size.
The TV will also be offered in a 65 inch model for those customers with smaller living spaces.
The popular U8 series incorporates Mini-LED pro technology and will be available in a larger 85-inch size and joins the choice of sizes from 55-inch and above.
The U8 now has more than 1000 dimming zones with up to 2000 nits brightness – a huge jump from the more than 500 dimming zones and 1300 nits a brightness from last year’s model.
The design of the U8 has also been streamlined with improved audio capabilities after the speakers were relocated towards the rear of the TV to utilise up firing speakers and a built-in subwoofer for an impressive audio experience out of the box.
The U7 will continue to offer quality and value with screen sizes ranging from 55-inch all the way up to 100-inch.
Under the hood, Hisense has tripled the number of dimming zones to bring it to more than 300.
Beyond the ULED line up, the new Hisense U6 series will offer an affordable Mini-LED option.
2024 will be the year Hisense delivers what customers want – even bigger screen TVs with options for 100-inch and 110-inch screen sizes.
Hisense is also introducing ant affordable 100-inch model, the 100Q7AU which includes 144Hz QLED quantum dot and full array backlit screen.
This is ideal for budget conscious customers who are still after a super-sized screen with excellent image quality.
“Our commitment to innovation drives us to continually redefine industry standards. The 2024 range demonstrates our dedication to delivering unmatched home entertainment experiences.
“With advancements in Mini-LED technology and offering the opportunity for our customers to go even bigger, we’re thrilled to bring a new level of immersive entertainment to Australian homes at attainable prices,” Lui said.
Hisense also upgraded its proprietary operating system VIDAA U7 across the entire TV range including UHD and ULED products.
VIDAA U7 offers tailored content recommendations across multiple streaming platforms.
It also offers impressive responsiveness to get to your content quickly.
Hisense customers will enjoy all their favourite streaming apps as well as newly launched free Internet TV channels which showcase hours of local and international content completely free of charge through VIDAA TV.
You can also throw away your batteries because Hisense has introduced a brand new solar remote control.
The solar panel is located on the front of the redesigned remote and only requires ambient light to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
It also has a USB-C port if it needs charging.
Hisense has also unveiled a new soundbar range to make the viewing experience better than ever whether you’re watching the latest blockbuster or your favourite sport.
The hero AX512O 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar has seven speakers and improved sound direction including up firing speakers to offer spatial audio.
It also has a dedicated centre speaker designed to provide clearer dialogue ever heard before.
Under the hood is Hisense’s own Pure Surround sound technology along with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
The soundbar can fit neatly within the adjustable height of select Hisense 2024 TVs which feature adjustable legs and centre stands.
There are seven sound modes and customised audio profiles based on the type of content you’re watching to ensure you’re getting the best audio result.
“Combining the strength of our ULED line-up and an improved user experience with VIDAA U7, alongside an impressive soundbar offering – we could not be prouder of the Hisense offering for Australian customers in 2024,” Liu added.
“We continue to listen to our customers and respond accordingly – this year’s range makes premium features available to more customers at a time when hip pocket pressure is at an all-time high.
“We’re focusing on what matters most – making those premium features relevant to our customers and easy to use.”
The 2024 TV range will feature the UXAU, U8NAU, U7NAU and U6NAU, as well as the Q7AU, Q6NAU and A4NAU.
Pricing on Hisense’s full 2024 TV and soundbar range will be announced soon.
