TV manufacturer Hisense has entered the soundbar market in Australia to enhance the home viewing experience for customers with the same approach of offering innovation and value.
There will be two Hisense soundbars that will be available from this week – a flagship model at $999 and an entry level unit at $349.
“Australians are increasingly seeking to enhance their at-home entertainment experience and we are thrilled to offer two high-quality audio solutions in our 5.1.2 and 2.1 channel Sound Bars,” says Andre Iannuzzi, head of marketing for Hisense Australia.
“At Hisense, we pride ourselves on creating innovative products that are always at the forefront of technology and these Sound Bars are no different.
“The range will ensure our customers can create a cinema-like experience from the comfort of their own homes.”
The entry level 2.1 channel soundbar model includes a wireless 6.5-inch subwoofer with Dolby Digital and DTS technology on board.
Customers will be able to connect through HDMI-ARC, Bluetooth, AUX, USB, optical and coaxial.
For customers who want more, there’s the 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos soundbar which utilises 11 built-in speakers and a subwoofer to create a truly 3D sound that will come from all directions including above the viewer.
The Hisense Dolby Atmos soundbar also supports DTS:X plus 4K and HDR passthrough.
The introduction of the soundbar range supports Hisense’s focus on sound quality after incorporating Dolby Atmos in its 2019 range of ULED TVs.
“Customer demand for Hisense products continues to grow and the introduction of soundbars in the Australian market is the next big step in meeting this demand,” Iannuzzi added.
The Hisense soundbars are available now through major electrical retailers.
