Sony Mobile has announced the availability of its new Xperia X series of smartphones – the Xperia XA, the Xperia X and the Xperia X Performance – which are all about to go on sale.
The new X Series range, which Tech Guide saw for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, includes refined designs and new camera features.
Sony’s engineers have delivered new textures and curves that extended seamlessly from the glass display to the chassis which makes it feel even more comfortable in your hand.
One impressive innovation of the Xperia X range is the Qnovo Adaptive Charging which manages the battery life and battery health.
This technology uses a patented charging process that adjusts the charging current in real time to give users the best result.

As a result, Sony says the new Xperia X devices can run for up to two days on a single charge.
The Xperia XA has a borderless edge-to-edge 5-inch screen – in fact it’s the world’s narrowest 5-inch smartphone so it fits in your hand even more comfortably.
So you’re actually getting a nice, big screen without having a massive device.

Stepping up to the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance, users will have a more advanced 23-megapixel camera which can be activated in a split-second so you don’t miss a thing.
Also onboard is Predictive Hybrid AutoFocus so you can stay focused on a moving object or person.

Users will also find SteadyShot stabilization to take the shakes out of your videos as well.
The Sony Xperia X will be available from tomorrow (June 23) for outright purchase or on a plan from Vodafone from June 29.
Xperia XA will be offered through Vodafone and Virgin Mobile while the Xperia X Performance will be exclusively available through Telstra. These will be available within the next month.
