Samsung has launched its 2016 range of curved monitors which not only meet a wide range of uses but are also designed to look good in any part of your home whether it’s for work or play.
Ranging in sizes from 22-inch to 34-inch, the Samsung curved monitors have been created to meet the customer’s needs whether it’s for personal use, for work or for enjoying multimedia content.
Design has been a serious focus for the Samsung curved monitors with evolving market trends showing the screens being used all around the home including the lounge room and even the bedroom.
Samsung has already embraced curved screens with its impressive range of TVs and customers are responding.
And Samsung has carried that over to the curved monitors, with curves ranging from 16 degrees to 22 degrees, provide an immersive and more interactive experience.
A recent Harvard Medical School study concluded that a curved screen delivered a more comfortable viewing experience with less blurred vision, increased focus and less eye tiredness than those using a regular flat screen monitor.
The new Samsung curved range is made up of the CF390 models (22-inch, 24-inch and 27-inch), the almost bezel-less CF591 (27-inch and with speakers) and the CF391 (32-inch with a 21:9 aspect ratio).
Under the hood of four of the five curved Samsung monitors is AMD’s FreeSync technology that syncs the screens refresh rate with AMD graphics cards to combat input latency, stutter and lag when playing games and viewing interactive video content.
Samsung’s active colour crystal technology is also at work with the curved monitors to support a wider sRGB colour gamut with contrast ratio that’s nearly three times that of the standard Samsung flat screens for deeper blacks and clean whites.
The CF591 27-inch monitor has a bezel so thin you can hardly notice it which encourages an even more immersive experience.
Also aboard Samsung’s CF591 curved monitor is a pair of 5W speakers.
On the connectivity side, the curved monitors offer a combination of HDMI ports, Display Ports and D-Sub inputs.
