TCL 10 Series smartphone pricing revealed ahead of Australian launch

TCL’s latest smartphones in the 10 Series line-up will be launched in the Australian market in Q2 with the latest display technology and impressive features but at affordable prices.

The three TCL 10 Series smartphones were unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show including the company’s first 5G smartphone – the TCL 10 5G which will available later in the year.

But the other two models – the TCL 10 Pro and the TCL 10L – will be available in Australia in the coming weeks and will be priced at $899 and $499 respectively.

Each of the TCL 10 Series smartphones features proprietary TCL NXTVISION displays which are built in-house and offer superb colour accuracy as well as SDR to HDR real-time conversion.

TCL 10 PRO – $899

The device has a 6.47-inch FHD+ curved edge AMOLED display with a high screen to body ratio.

There is also an Edge Bar shortcut to access your favourite apps and features with one hand.

Also onboard is an in-screen fingerprint reader which can quickly unlock the phone.

On the camera side you’ve got a quad rear lens system which includes a 64-megapixel high-res camera and a 123-super wide angle camera for excellent images and videos plus a 24-megapixel front camera to capture high quality selfies.

The TCL 10 Pro will be available in Ember Gray and Forest Mist Green and will be priced at $899.

TCL 10L – $499

The TCL 10L really punches above its weight with a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dotch display with a 91 per cent screen to body ratio.

It is powered by the NXTVISION display engine and offers colour accuracy and excellent contrast.

Under the hood is 6GB RAM with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and AI platform.

The TCL 10L has a four lens camera system and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The device comes in Arctic White and Mariana Blue and will be priced at $499.

TCL 10 5G – $TBA

The first TCL 5G smartphone has a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dotch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Series 5G SoC to utilise the added speed of 5G for faster downloads and faster uploads and improved wi-fi stability.

The rear quad camera system includes a 64-megapixel main camera that handle wide-angle shots and super close up macro shots at only 2cm from the subject.

The TCL 10 5G also has a large battery onboard and Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

It also has OTG Reverse Charging which turns the smartphone into a power bank to charge other devices.

Dynamic TCL UI: TCL knows everyone uses their phones differently. The TCL UI offers lively interfaces, intuitive interaction and customizable features for additional ease of use.

– Eye Comfort Display: With the user’s vision health in mind, TCL makes it easy on the eyes with eye care modes such as Adaptive Tone, Reading Mode and Eye Comfort Mode to help provide the best viewing experience regardless of lighting conditions.

– Smart Key: Access commonly used apps and features with a dedicated, customizable button. The button can be customizable in three ways – single, double, and long press – to activate apps such as the camera or Google Assistant, as well as functions such as cleaning up background apps.

– Super Bluetooth: Push the limits of audio-streaming by connecting up to four Bluetooth speakers or headphones to share music with friends for the ultimate dance party (or silent disco party).
