Oppo unveils new Find X2 flagship smartphone with enhanced display and camera


Oppo has just unveiled its latest flagship smartphone – the Find X2 – which includes the latest display technology, an advanced camera, fast charging and 5G connectivity.

The sleek device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 5G processor with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

It will be available in two colours – Ceramic Black which has a textured feel to prevent fingerprints and Orange vegan leather.

What grabs your attention right away is the 6.7-inch OLED Ultra Vision screen which can be set to 120Hz refresh rate for even smoother scrolling, games, sports and actions movies.

It is a 10-bit billion colour display that has a QHD+ resolution of 3168 x 1440 and 513ppi (pixels per inch).

Also onboard the Ultra Vision Engine to enhance image quality are two features – Motion Clear which can double the frame rate of a video ti minimise judder and HDR Enhancer to intelligently upscale video to HDR (high dynamic range) quality.

On the camera side the Oppo Find X2 also has impressive credentials. And it has already earned the equal highest DxOMark score of 124 with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.

The rear Ultra Vision triple camera system is made up of a 48-megapixel wide-angle, 48-megapixel ultra-wide and a 13-megapixel periscope telephoto lens which supports up to 10x hybrid zoom.

They are also backed by high-quality Sony sensors to offer remarkable capabilities including low-light photography.

Serious photographers can even take further control by shooting 12-bit RAW images so they have even more editing options.

Videos are also high quality thanks to Ultra Steady Video Pro for smoother videos in 4K 60fps.

The Oppo Find X2 packs in a 4,260mAh battery which promises to easily power users through an entire day.

And when it comes time to charge you will have access to the world’s fastest charging with the Oppo 65W SuperVOOC super flash charge.

It can completely charge the Oppo Find X2 from 0 to 100 per cent in just 38 minutes.

The device is running the ColorOS 7.1 operating system alongside Android 10.

The Oppo Find X2 will be priced at $1,599 when it goes on sale in Q2 2020.
