Apple Music is now available on Alexa devices on Australia giving users access to more than 50 million in the Apple Music catalogue on the full range of Echo speakers.
There are more than 57 million Apple Music subscribers worldwide and until now the only smart speaker that could play music and playlists with voice commands was Apple’s very own HomePod.
Customers will now be able to add Apple Music to their list of services within the Amazon Alexa app.
Apple Music will be able to be enjoyed with the Echo Dot, Echo Plus, Echo Show.
Users will be able to ask Alexa to play their favourite songs, artists and albums or any of the playlists curated by the Apple Music editors.
Apple Music subscribers will also be able to stream radio stations for all music genres and also access Apple’s global livestream Beats 1.
