Modern technology gives us many things.

Alcatel releases range of new feature-packed smartphones and they’re all under $200

Alcatel has launched three new smartphones in Australia that once again offer tremendous features, including a 48-megapixel triple camera system, and equally tremendous value with all of the devices priced under $200.

The Alcatel 3L, 1V and 1B were first seen at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January and will be sold through Vodafone stores.

Alcatel is once again challenging other brands with this new range that offers sensational bang for your buck.

The Alcatel 3L is priced at $199 (available May 20), the 1V is $149 (available now) and the 1B is just $99 (available May 27).

“Australians are looking at their budgets and technology needs more than ever before, so it is only appropriate that we answer the call with our new range for 2020,” said Sam Skontos, VP and Managing Director, Alcatel Mobile.

“I believe the Alcatel 3L brings to life everything we believe in, packing some serious punch in a device I believe is the best ‘bang for buck’ smartphone on the market today.

“To be able to introduce such great options at three critical sub-$200 prices shows the impact that our manufacturing capabilities can have in ensuring Australians have access to the latest technology without breaking the bank.”

ALCATEL 3L – $199

Normally a smartphone with a triple camera system comes with a much higher price tag but Alcatel has defied the market with the 3L which includes a 48-megapixel main rear sensor.

It is capable of capturing high quality images and videos, even in low light conditions courtesy of the 4-in-1 big pixel technology.

This combines four pixels into a larger 1.6μm 12-megapixel image to boost light sensitivity.

With onboard AI, the 3L can also recognise up to 22 different scenes to optimise the image.

The Alcatel has a 6.22-inch HD+ Vast display with a U Notch and a 19:9 aspect ratio to provide a large screen experience on a device that can still easily fit in your pocket.

It is powered by an Octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot to expand the memory even further.

ALCATEL 1V – $149

The Alcatel 1V has a 6.22-inch HD+ Vast display and a slick design with a feathered-pattern finish, curved edges and 2.5D front glass.

It has a smudge resistant back rear panel which is where you’ll also find the twin camera system (13-megapixel and 5-megapixel) so users can create and stream high definition content.

On the security side you’ll also find a rear fingerprint sensor and Face Key which quickly unlocks the device just by looking at it.

With a 4000mAh battery the 1V will also easily power you through the day and night.

ALCATEL 1B – $99

You’ll be hard pressed to find a device that has a 5.5-inch HD+ 18:9 display, Android 10 (GO Edition) operating system and 3,000mAh battery that is priced under $100.

But that’s exactly what you get with the Alcatel 1B.

The device has an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, a dedicated Google Assistant button and a 3,000mAh battery.

The Alcatel 3L, 1V and 1B are available from Vodafone stores.
