LG will release a series of ultra widescreen 21:9 monitors to suit gamers, business owners and multimedia professionals at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week.
LG is a leader in widescreen monitor sales worldwide according to IDC with a market share of 77.3 per cent.
LG will unveil four monitors at CES – the 21:9 UltraWide Gaming Monitor (34UM67), the world’s first curved 34-inch 21:9 (34UC97), 21:9 curved UltraWide Multi-Display (34UC87M) and the Digital Cinema 4K monitor (31MU97).

LG 34-INCH 21:9 ULTRAWIDE GAMING MONITOR (34UM67)
LG’s first 21:9 UltraWide gaming monitor is designed for graphics-heavy and intense game play.
The 34-inch widescreen monitor incorporates AMD’s FreeSync technology which guarantees a smooth and seamless gaming experience.
With a wider field of view, players can see a lot more with the LG 21:9 UltraWide monitor.
Many of today’s most popular games including Battlefield 4, World of Warcraft and ArcheAge support 21:9 resolution and even more games are expected to support this format in the future.

LG 34-INCH CURVED 21:9 MONITOR (34UC97)
LG’s world’s first curved 34-inch curved 21:9 monitor has a Quad HD resolution of 3440 x 1440 and offers a lot of extra screen real estate.
This allows creative professionals like designers, editors and photographers extra room to move while they are creating, editing and working on their content.
Mac users can also use this monitor thanks to the included Thunderbolt 2 connection that can handle high data transfers.

LG 34-INCH 21:9 CURVED ULTRAWIDE MULTIDISPLAY (34UC87M)
This 21:9 curved ultrawide multidisplay has a number of connectivity options and can be used as a trading workstation to display charts, quotes and pending orders on each screen.

LG 31-INCH DIGITAL CINEMA 4K MONITOR (31MU97)
LG’s Digital Cinema monitor has a 4K resolution of 4096 x 2160 which is actually more pixels than the regular Ultra High Resolution monitor with 3840 x 2160.
It shows 4K content as it was meant to be seen with native resolution for digital intermediate processes and accurate colour management of digital video content.
Pricing and availability for these monitors have yet to be finalised.
