Kogan Mobile has today moved its customers over to Vodafone’s 4G network ahead of the scheduled cut-over and also introduced an all-new SIM only plan with up to 12GB of data.
With plans to shift its 3G customers set for June, Kogan Mobile has actually moved even earlier and offered access to Vodafone’s 4G network from today at no extra cost.
And to celebrate, Kogan Mobile has also unveiled an even larger pre-paid XL SIM only plan which offers unlimited calls and texts with 11GB of data and 1GB of bonus data for a limited time when pre-paid on a 365-day plan.
Kogan Mobile has also extended its 5XL plan with a bonus 2GB of data as well to bring the monthly allowance to 7GB.
“We promised our customers 4G connectivity was coming by June this year. We have delivered on that promise and we have delivered it ahead of schedule,” said David Shafer, executive director at Kogan.com.
“Kogan Mobile has made 4G more accessible for Aussie consumers, at affordable prices that won’t break the bank.
“We’re also providing bonusdata on some existing plans, as well as a new plan to cater for people who love using heaps of data.
“New and existing Kogan Mobile customers now have more options than ever to choose the plan that works best for them.”
