JBL has launched a new voice-activated portable speaker – the JBL Link 300 – that brings together the company’s signature audio quality with the intelligence of Google Assistant.
The JBL Link series is already led by Link 10 and Link 20 and the Link 300 joins the family and brings with it a full audio range, a larger but still portable form factor and the added feature of being waterproof.
The Link speakers have best-in-class audio quality and can enable high definition music streaming with Chromecast built-in so users are able to access their music from multiple sources while enjoying the convenience of the Google Assistant that responds to your voice.
JBL’s Link 300 delivers the most powerful sound in the series and can also be linked together with multiple speakers to create an even larger sound.
The speaker can connect wirelessly using Bluetooth or on your home’s wi-fi network and can be used as part of a multi-room audio set up.
The Link 300 is 23.5cm wide, 15.4cm long and 13.4cm high and weighs 1.4kg.
Under the hood is an 89mm woofer and a 20mm tweeter with 2 X 25W of output power.
And despite its relatively small size, the JBL Link 300 can produce a truly room-filling sound.
The JBL Link 300 is available now and priced at $349.95.
