Garmin has just revealed its new daily activity tracker – the vivofit 4 – which has a sunlight readable always-on colour display and an onboard battery that will last for more than a year.
The device is slim with a comfortable band and designed to be worn 24/7.
It is also water resistant so it can handle a swim and can be worn while you’re taking a shower.
The vivofit 4 is ready to go out of the box and can be paired with your smartphone to enable a number of features and provide notifications.
Garmin designed the vivofit 4 to offer more than just basic activity tracking to help the user achieve a daily step goal.
It can also track sleep keep a tally of your intensity minutes while your training and automatically classify activities including walking, running, cycling, swimming and using indoor gym equipment.
Customers can also use the product as a watch which includes a countdown timer, stopwatch and multiple alarms.
Also on board is a weather widget which can give you a fast summary of the day’s weather with an illustration.
Using the companion Garmin Connect app, it’s also possible to customise the in vivofit 4 with various watch faces, colour themes and personalised information including an emergency contact or a motivational phrase.
The device has interchangeable bands so you can easily switch up the colours to match your style or your outfit.
The vivofit 4 will be available in white, lime green speckled, and black and will be priced at $159.
Interchangeable bands are also available for $29.
