TCL releases new bundle just for kids at Big W with a tablet and a smartwatch for $229

Kids love technology and are demanding devices at younger ages but TCL has got your back with a new bundle which includes a 7-inch tablet and a smartwatch both designed just for kids.

The TCL bundle will be available through Big W for the special price of $229 until July 30 when it will return to its usual $279 price.

In the bundle customers will receive an Alcatel TKEE 7-inch Mini Tablet and the TCL MT40 Family Time watch.

ALCATEL TKEE MINI TABLET

The 7-inch Android tablet is powered by a 2850mAh battery for all day use and comes with a rugged silicone bumper case with soft rounded corners so it can handle daily use and the occasional drop.

The case also has a handy kickstand so kids can position it to watch content.

Also onboard are comprehensive parental controls so they can filter what their child can see and also set screen time limits.

The Alcatel TKEE Mini Tablet can also help children set good habits with technology with alerts every 30 minutes for screen breaks and warnings when the user’s eye are within 25cm of the screen.

Customers will also have access to Kidomi – a premium content platform for games and interactive books which have been handpicked by educational experts.

This smartwatch designed just for kids is capable of video calling and has 4G connectivity Users can also send pictures, voice messages and emojis.

The device has a 1.3-inch display, has a replaceable band and has an IP65 rating which makes is water resistant.

For those children that are too young for smartphone, the TCL Movetime Family Watch is the ideal alternative because it allows parents to stay in touch with their kids as well as offering GPS tracking for added peace of mind.

It also has an SOS button as well as customised geofencing functionality so a parent can receive notifications when their child arrives or leaves their home or school.
