Ecovacs Robotics has launched its latest robot vacuum products at the IFA tech trade show in Berlin with a selection of these devices due to arrive in Australia for the first time in the coming months.
A leader in the global robotics vacuum market, Ecovacs debuted its latest cleaning robots including the Deebot Ozmo 610 and the Deebot Ozmo 930 which are both equipped with technology which can sweep, mop and vacuum.
The products have built in sensors so they can navigate your home and map the rooms.
The Deebot Ozmo robotic vacuums can easily differentiate between carpets and hard floor surfaces and adjust cleaning modes on the fly.
The units can be controlled and monitored with a smart phone app so the owner can see exactly where they are in their home from anywhere.
“IFA is a very exciting time for us, and the timing could not be better to be showcasing products such as the Deebot Ozmo 610 and Deebot Ozmo 930,” said Damian Commane, Country Manager for Ecovacs Australia and New Zealand.
“With the launch of the Ecovacs Robotics brand imminent for the Australian market, this is a great way to introduce products that we anticipate will be available as well as get first-hand experience of reactions from the public.
“We have had a strong level of success globally and now it is time to realise our plans for the Australian market.
“The inclusion of Ozmo technology is helping our products give back time to our customers so they can enjoy more special moments with family and friends.
“Our Deebot Ozmo 930 is also Google Home enabled to provide our customers with an added layer of sophistication and convenience. We believe this is a value proposition that will appeal to many Australian consumers.”
When it comes to vacuuming, the Ecovacs Robotics products provide strong suction in surprisingly quiet operation.
The units cannot only vacuum but they can sweep and mop the floor as well.
This is made possible by extra-large electronically-controlled water tank that moistens a washable cloth on the bottom of the cleaning robot.
The Deebot Ozmo can determine the amount of water dispensed depending on the level of cleaning required.
Customers can also control the water flow using the Ecovacs Robotics app.
Pricing and availability for the Deebot Ozmo 610 and Deebot Ozmo 930 will be announced closer to the Australian launch date in the coming months.
