D-Link’s new Full HD 180-degree Wi-Fi camera has the whole room covered
D-Link has just released its newest security camera – the Full HD 180-degree Wi-Fi Camera – which offers a 180-degree field of view so you can monitor the entire room in full high definition.
Most competitor devices, on average, only have a 130-degree lens but the new D-Link DCS-2530L has got the entire room covered.
It also comes with technology that can take that 180-degree view and de-warp the fish-eye effect and give users clear live video.
The D-Link Full HD 180-degree Wi-Fi Camera is easy to set up and includes a wi-fi signal locator so you can find the best placement for reliable connectivity and streaming.
The camera can detect sound and motion and send you automatic notifications to your smartphone.
And the mydlink-enabled wi-fi device works day or night. The on-board night vision has two built-in infrared LEDs which means you can see up to 5m in absolute darkness.
Users can set the camera to record continuously, at scheduled times or whenever it detects sound or motion.
These recordings can be stored locally directly on a microSD card up to 128GB in capacity so you don’t have to pay for a cloud storage service or use data to upload and stream the footage.
“Users of the new DCS-2530L can enjoy monitoring their home in Full High Definition video with the widest viewing angle available at a full 180 degrees, so not only can you see and monitor more of your home with a single camera, you can receive alerts via your mobile device wherever you are in the world, and see what’s going on via the free mydlink lite app,” said D-Link Australia New Zealand managing director Graeme Reardon.
The DCS-2530L is available now from www.dlink.com.au and all D-Link authorised retailers and resellers for $299.95.
