Judging by recent happenings, the healthcare industry is experiencing some recent changes which occurred as a result of the lack of innovation suffered by the industry. Healthcare’s biggest challenge today is handling patients’ data. While humankind may have made tremendous progress in the healthcare field, the problem of matching patients with their medical records hasn’t changed.
As a result, medical treatments are drastically less effective.
While all these shortcomings occur, remember that healthcare is a money-making business, therefore hospitals are not fond of losing their patients. So, they engage in an information blocking practice that slows development.
Even today, data breaches continue to occur regularly. Medical data theft has become a common problem, just as bank information theft and we still do not have a universal system of storing and distributing information about patients between different healthcare facilities.
In addition to data, drugs are also in high demand. To prevent theft and illegal circulation of drugs, the pharmaceutical industry would need to improve its supply chain and monitor how drugs are distributed. Health care professionals need to also develop a secure, easy-to-access method of handling patient data.
To solve this issue doesn’t come as a surprise because many medical start-ups are developing their blockchain solutions with the help of distributed ledger technology.
Cryptocurrency projects that facilitate health care
To solve the different issues around the healthcare industry, many healthcare projects banks on blockchain technology to promote the day-to-day medical system. A majority of the projects are mainly aimed at the patient while helping to redefine the role of medical institutions simultaneously. You can get more information from register with Bitcoin System
Solve.Care
Solve.Care seeks to find a new approach to solving healthcare issues by improving access, delivery, management, and payment of healthcare services. Blockchain technology is being used here to connect medical facilities and patients and provide easy access to benefits, care, and payment transactions.
The most important goal of the platform is to ensure that everyone can access healthcare, administer healthcare more efficiently, ensure that providers are paid on time, improve outcomes and decrease costs.
Medicalchain
Medicalchain Prioritizes the interests of the patients. It offers patients the ability to share their medical information with anyone in their network via a single version of their data. To provide secure data access to patients, Medicalchain uses blockchain technology to connect pharmaceutical, research, and insurance companies with patients.
MyClinic.com are the brains behind this project. It is an app that lets users access their health records, communicate with doctors, and share their medical records. In the future, doctors can make new changes based on their online consultations. It aims to improve daily healthcare and quality of life.
MediBloc
One of the goals of most blockchain healthcare projects is to improve the quality of life for patients and MediBloc is no exception. Big data structuring is a key focus of the company, along with creating one universal distribution channel. Panacea, MediBloc’s blockchain, provides a secure and private means of storing medical data.
Through the platform, various additional services will be offered, including disease prediction, drug development, and personal healthcare. Patients can access their medical records and submit insurance claims through MediBloc’sMediPass application.
Bottom Line
These are just a few of the healthcare projects that have adopted cryptocurrency to improve their services. There are many more in the industry who are still assessing how crypto can improve their services and help meet the target. You should expect to see more projects going forward in the future.
